The Society

The Society was founded by exiled Scots on 30 November 1929 under the presidency of the Earl of Weymss and March. 

Membership is open to anyone having an interest in Scottish heritage, history, literature, music, song and dancing.  The current ordinary annual subscription rate is £6 and the family rate (covering two members living at the same address) is £10.

Guests of members, and visitors are welcome to attend the Society's events and activities.

The Society's affairs are managed by a committee consisting of
